Adobe Acrobat has a Mac version. http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Macintosh

BTW, the Preview app that came with Mac OS X pretty much does the same things as Acrobat. Give it a try.

Thanks for the help! I would need VPC to run a new copy of Adobe Acrobat correct? Does Apple make a similar program, and if they do what's it called??

With VPC installed, you should be able to install and run PC software albeit with a sizeable speed/functionality loss. (VPC isn't very good at what it's suppossed to do.)

I suggest going with MS Office for Mac - you'll be much happier with its performance and all your files that were created in PC should be readable by MS Office Mac

Hi everyone,

JUST ordered my new G4 laptop. Not too knowledgable about macs. If I install virtual pc, can I also install a copy of XP pro that I have? That version has all the microsoft software that I need: word, powerpoint, excel etc.

OR do I need to buy Microsoft Office for Macs which also contains those apps?

Anything else a new Mac owner should know??

THANKS so much for any advice!!
