  With VPC installed, you should be able to install and run PC software albeit with a sizeable speed/functionality loss. (VPC isn't very good at what it's suppossed to do.)
  
  I suggest going with MS Office for Mac - you'll be much happier with its performance and all your files that were created in PC should be readable by MS Office Mac

    Thanks for the help! I would need VPC to run a new copy of Adobe Acrobat correct? Does Apple make a similar program, and if they do what's it called??

      Adobe Acrobat has a Mac version. www.adobe.com/support/dow.../product.jsp
      
      BTW, the Preview app that came with Mac OS X pretty much does the same things as Acrobat. Give it a try.
