Hi All,
I have anew motorola bluetooth headset (H5) and am trying to figure out if I can use it with Skype?
My G4 recognizes the headset, but I cannot seem to get Skype to recognize it.
I found a website which said to go the the tools and then options are to make some changes, but cannot find that anywhere!
Thanks for your help!!
Is anyone using a H5 with Skype? If so, how did you set it up??

Re: Using Bluetooth With Skype
Mon, May 5, 2008 - 8:17 PMYou may not have told Skype to use the headset. In Skype go into the preferences (CMD-,) and go to the Audio section. In there it will have a few options to set. You need tell it to Output to your "headset" (Whatever it shows up as) and you need to set the Input to your "headset."
I have used my bluetooth headset with Skype many times. The problem is that, unless you have the headset active before starting Skype, it will pick what ever source is currently available. You will have to do the above everytime you start Skype if the headset is not online before starting Skype. -

Re: Using Bluetooth With Skype
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 7:01 PMSorry, the "CMD" key is the one with the four circles kinda like a clover leaf. It also usually has the "Apple" symbol on it. Should be the key near the space bar depending on your keyboard.
Alternatively you can use the menu: When you are in Skype look at the top left hand corner of the screen, next to the "Apple" menu will be a choice that says "Skype" Click on it, then you will see "Preferences... (CMD)," (CMD will show a picture of the CMD key btw) Select Preferences and you will be in the preferences. -
