Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know any killler apps to help open .EXE files?
I've used filejuicer with so/so results.
One of the last mac mags had another listed, but I don't have it in my possession at this time!
THANKS!!

Re: .EXE files
Sun, September 9, 2007 - 12:26 PMYeah, Windows.
What are the .exe files? Are they compressed archives or actual executables? If they are just archives, 90% of the time you can just change the extension from .exe to .zip and then stuffit or OS X will just open them. Otherwise if I recall you can drop a .exe archive on "drop stuffit" and it will decompress it.
Now if you are trying to actually run an .exe... The best way I have found to run them is literally to run Windows (I use Parallels.) It is better than any type of shell I have used. (It is unfortunate.) I am sure some one may have a better answer. If you really need to run something under OS X then you may want to check in the OS X tribe, there is a lot of information in there on how to do things.
